A Very Special Thank You

Have you ever had a person who you wanted to thank in a very special way? I had a client reach out to me to make a Thank You Gift Basket for her nanny. This client of mine made a huge leap to leave her corporate job and become a stay at home mom to her one year old and her two and a half year old. She had an absolutely wonderful nanny that she wanted to show her appreciation for. For anyone who has children, you know that it is a lot of work to take care of any child, let alone two so young. This nanny showed up every day with a smile on her face.

My client gave me a couple must have items- a Dunkin Donuts gift card and some cozy socks- and then let me come up with the rest! After brainstorming, I wanted to include items that would help her fuel up for a day full of kiddos and then wind back down. After all, she quickly had another family lined up to help. Besides the Dunkin gift card to help fuel her, we included a large stainless steel cup to keep her iced coffee (her drink of choice even in the winter) cold all day. Then we included comfy socks, a warm scented candle, and lavender oil so she can relax when she comes home.

Creating this gift especially for her made her truly feel appreciated. I am so glad I was able to help my client convey that sentiment.
